I have looked everywhere for desert boots without any luck. They did not seem to exist anymore. This was a shoe that I had worn forever. On a whim I checked Amazon and was pleasently surprised to find these shoes. They are exactly what I wanted. Great shoe, great service.

Still wearing them since the ’60′s (but NOT the same ones) and still enjoying the comfort and versatility. They “go” with anything, great for travel, and if they get to grungy for you, put them in the shower with you once in awhile…they can take it…

These are just like the ones I wore in the 1960s; except they are made in Vietnam instead of England; which is dissappointing. They’re still great though.

Take a hint from WWII’s British soldiers, who were apparently quite fashionable, because the Clarks Desert Boot was inspired by them. A durable yet flexible authentic plantation crepe sole creates an extra comfortable platform on which the foot sits, while a durable suede leather upper is made to last. Discreet lacing crosses high on the vamp, and thick stitching around the sole adds extra texture. Padded footbed. Leather upper. Crepe outsole.

The boots that I recieved were well made and they were sent in a timely fashion.Confortable, good looking for casual wear or dress.I would buy another pair again.

Its an awsome shoe that fits excellent and looks even better, I always receive good comments about them. The only thing is that this color in particular gets dirty pretty easily so you just need to be careful and clean them every time you can.

These boots are both classic and very comfortable. I remember growing up seeing so many guys wearing these as they were just such an easy, comfortable, classy yet casual looking boot to wear with practically anything.

And, if you’re a fan of The Beatles and George Harrison in particular, and the Abbey Road album, you’ll note these are the boots George was wearing in that famous legendary photograph on the cover. The anniversary of which, the day the photograph was taken, was just recently celebrated.
